Availability

Supply chain shortages of traditional GLP-1s make it difficult to obtain easily and regularly. Our options are readily available.

Affordability

We offer more affordable pricing than other options on the market! Our semaglutide formula starts at under $25/week for the initial dose of 0.25mg/week.

Credibility

Our semaglutide injections are produced in a 503b compounding pharmacy. Though the compounds are not reviewed by the FDA, the facility itself is FDA-registered and inspected.

WHY CHOOSE OUR COMPOUNDS?

About the Vendor

We have recently partnered with a 503B pharmacy to provide a compounded injectable semaglutide option to our patients. A 503B pharmacy is a pharmacy that is registered with the FDA as a compounding outsourcing facility; they operate on a large scale to make the compounds available to other pharmacies. Though the compound is not FDA approved, the facility that produces it is an FDA approved drug manufacturer and is inspected regularly. Each batch we receive comes with a Certificate of Analysis showing the chemical composition.

WHAT IS SEMAGLUTIDE?

Semaglutide is a Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) medication. GLP-1 receptor agonists mimic the GLP-1 hormone that is released in the gut as a response to eating. One effect that GLP-1s have is to tell the body when to produce more insulin, which is the hormone that reduces blood sugar. In larger amounts, GLP-1s can send a signal to the brain that the body is full, helping to reduce appetite.

GLP-1 medications have taken the world by storm for their reported ability to help manage blood sugar and support weight loss. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are the most frequently prescribed.

The expense and relative scarcity of the GLP-1s in recent months has left many people unable to begin or continue therapy uninterrupted. These patients could benefit greatly from the potential of these medications to reduce A1C and weight.
